Thanks for the additional background and testing [~Browne], that is very 
helpful. Adjusting the token lifespan seems like a helpful workaround for 
current versions.

Given the interest in this issue, and the preferred approach of short-lived 
access tokens with refresh tokens, this is still something that I plan on 
evaluating and improving.
