Thanks for asking about this Processor [~dstiegli1], and thanks for your work 
[~Grebtsew].

As it turns out, the 
[EncodeContent|https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/components/org.apache.nifi/nifi-standard-nar/1.20.0/org.apache.nifi.processors.standard.EncodeContent/]
 Processor supports Hexadecimal encoding and decoding, but that Processor was 
not usable until NiFi 1.20.0 due to the absence of the class name in the 
META-INF service descriptor. With that Processor available, introducing a 
separate {{HexDump}} Processor does not seem necessary.
