   # Summary

   [NIFI-11325](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-11325) Upgrades
Mockito from 3.12.4 to
[4.11.0](https://github.com/mockito/mockito/releases/tag/v4.11.0) and updates
deprecated references to current methods.

   [Mockito 4](https://github.com/mockito/mockito/releases/tag/v4.0.0) provides
the current baseline version for Java 8, which works for both the NiFi current
main branch and the support branch. Subsequent efforts can evaluate upgrading
the main branch to Mockito 5, which requires Java 11.
