Daniel Stieglitz commented on NIFI-4309:
----------------------------------------

[~exceptionfactory] I realize this is a long standing bug but what is the
desired behavior to have the date as it is displayed in the Excel or the
underlying number which represents the date? The unit tests in
ConvertExcelToCSVProcessorTest assume the latter. I have a fix for this bug
based on the work I have done for NIFI-11167 to have the date displayed as it
is seen in the Excel spreadsheet. Please let me know whether I should apply the
fix. Thanks!

> If we have an excel sheet that has columns with time, and we are using the
> ConvertExcelToCSVProcessor for converting the worksheet to CSV then it
> converts the fields with the time entries to decimal values.
