[~juldrixx] I found that the issue in the {{google-auth-library-oauth2-http}}
library had already been reported and was just fixed a few days ago:
[https://github.com/googleapis/google-auth-library-java/issues/1387]. I tested
the fix in my GKE environment and it works properly.
There is also a workaround (mentioned in the issue ticket) that we could apply
on our side but I would rather wait for the Google fix to be released and then
depend on the fixed version of the library. Hopefully it will happen before M5.
I asked for an expected release date in the ticket.
