Scott Aslan commented on NIFI-13704:
------------------------------------

[~nerdfunk] I had some time today and was trying to reproduce this issue. I
think I understand the use case but the UX seems to work ok for me. I am
posting a gif of how it seems to work for me. Let me know if this is not the
same issue you are experiencing.

> UI bug using parameter context inheritance
> ------------------------------------------

> Components: Core UI
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M4
> Environment: nifi 2.0M4, Firefox 129.0.2 or Safari on a Mac.

> There seems to be a bug in the user interface in nifi 2.0M4. We are using a
> lot of parameters contexts and the inheritance feature. With a larger number,
> the list of parameters contexts cannot be displayed completely. In this case,
> it is not possible to move a context from left-hand side to the right side up
> to the placeholder „Selected Parameter Context“. The only way to use a
> context is to move the top context to the right and then and then delete it
> again immediately. In this case, the context is appended to the end of the
> list and all other contexts move up.
>
> What is also noticeable is that the list on the left-hand side is not sorted.
> Different browsers display the list in a different order.
>
> I am using wifi 2.0M4, Firefox 129.0.2 or Safari on a Mac.
> {*}Update{*}: When using the touchpad on a notebook you can drag an item from
> the left-hand side and then use "your hand" to move down the menu. Maybe I'm
> just clumsy but using a PC (without touchpad) and a mouse I was unable to
> move down the menu using the right scroll bar.
