It seems like a boilerplate solution from their API, so how do we handle the L&N given the obvious influence on my PR? If you copied code from somewhere else then you must know the LICENSE of that code you're copying, it must be category-A license (ALv2, MIT, etc..). And it must be referenced in our NOTICE file for the impacted nar benefiting from the copied code, the top level NOTICE of our entire source tree, and the resulting NOTICE file of the assembly.
