David Handermann commented on NIFI-13793:
-----------------------------------------

Thanks for summarizing these concerns [~dstiegli1].

It may be helpful to indicate the exact version of Maven in the README,
matching the required version in the Maven configuration.

I think it is best to leave the header as Requirements, because the module
makes no compatibility claims regarding higher versions of Maven or Java.

> Place the correct minimum Maven version in nifi-api README

> Currently the [README|https://github.com/apache/nifi-api/blob/main/README.md]
> for the nifi-api has 3.9 as the Maven version but it should say 3.9.9 as that
> is the minimum version specified in the
> [pom.xml|https://github.com/apache/nifi-api/blob/42a35005c5d65d3989b2e452e20199eed75fec0e/pom.xml#L78]
> file similar to in nifi where the minimum Maven version specified in the
> [README|https://github.com/apache/nifi/blob/main/README.md] is 3.9.6.
> Also it might be a good idea to have as the header in the nifi-api say
> 'Minimum Requirements' as it does in the nifi README instead of
> 'Requirements'.
