Closing here in favor of #9714. We'll do the review there and cherry-pick should be doable directly on 1.x. Keep in mind that I'm not sure the community will go through the process of releasing a new 1.x version so you might need to build your own version, or, and that's my recommendation, consider moving to NiFi 2. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
