   # Summary

   [NIFI-14293](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14293) Removes the
Bouncy Castle Provider library `bcprov-jdk18on` from the
`nifi-cipher-processors` module and removes code references to Bouncy Castle
classes.

The `EncryptContentAge` and `DecryptContentAge` Processors required the
Bouncy Castle library when introduced for NiFi 1 because Java 8 does not
include the `X25519` and `ChaCha20-Poly1305` algorithms. With Java 11 and
following including these algorithms, and with NiFi 2 requiring Java 21 as the
minimum version, Bouncy Castle is no longer required for these Processors. The
`VerifyContentMAC` Processor used the Bouncy Castle `Hex` utility class, and
replacing it with the standard Java `HexFormat` class removes all references to
Bouncy Castle in the module.

The Bouncy Castle library itself comes from the parent
`nifi-standard-shared-nar`, so no notice file updates are required.
