   # Summary

   [NIFI-14600](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14600) Updates the
`nifi-nar-utils` module to use the `dev.aspectj` fork of the AspectJ Maven
Plugin.

The `nifi-nar-utils` module uses AspectJ weaving to support intercepting
`System` method invocations for loading native libraries. The Maven
configuration uses the `aspectj-maven-plugin` for class weaving, but the plugin
version from Codehaus does not produce deterministic output as of version
1.15.0, which breaks reproducible builds. The
[dev.aspectj](https://github.com/dev-aspectj/aspectj-maven-plugin) fork of the
plugin added support for reproducible builds in version 1.14.0, and also added
support for Maven 4 in version 1.14.1, while maintaining compatibility with
existing plugin properties.

Changing to the `dev.aspectj` version aligns with general goals of
performing reproducible builds.
