David Handermann commented on NIFI-13291:
-----------------------------------------

Thanks for evaluating this issue [~himanshu123nifi]. Please be aware that
changes should be targeted to the current main branch with the latest version
of NiFi 2. This issue notes NiFi 1.21.0 for Affects Version, so it may or may
not apply to NiFi 2.

> I have a NiFi flow in which GetFile processor gets the txt file from local
> folder, as per configured cron schedule, which is further used for
> downloading the PDF files.
> I have observed that NiFi requires a restart before the cron job time of
> GetFile processor. If NiFi is not restarted, the txt file does not get picked
> up as per cron schedule.
> I have not encountered any issues in manual processing (run once) of the
> GetFile processor.
> I can't find anything on the log. The log file is printed as if nothing was
> scheduled for that particular time. It's simply skipping the timing and
> continuing. I'm using Apache NiFi version 1.21.0.
