# Summary [NIFI-14765](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14765) Corrects the Authorizable Lookup handling for Registry Clients and Flow Analysis Rules, which are nested under the Controller Resource Type. Loading and editing Access Policies includes resolving entries defined in persisted authorization configuration. The introduction of nested Registry Clients and Flow Analysis Rules as Authorizable objects under the parent Controller Resource supports optional fine-grained authorization for individual instances of these components, but also supports inheriting existing policies defined at the Controller level. Although the initial implementation supported enforcement, defining nested policies for either of these objects resulted in policy resolution errors that prevented the Access Policies screen from loading when using the Managed Authorizer. Updates to the `StandardAuthorizableLookup` class check for the presence of either Registry Clients or Flow Analysis Rules in the resource path, and then delegate resolution based on the presence or absence of the nested Resource Type. Updates to the associated unit test exercise these changes and verify the expected type of Authorizable object returned. # Tracking Please complete the following tracking steps prior to pull request creation. ### Issue Tracking - [X] [Apache NiFi Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI) issue created ### Pull Request Tracking - [X] Pull Request title starts with Apache NiFi Jira issue number, such as `NIFI-00000` - [X] Pull Request commit message starts with Apache NiFi Jira issue number, as such `NIFI-00000` ### Pull Request Formatting - [X] Pull Request based on current revision of the `main` branch - [X] Pull Request refers to a feature branch with one commit containing changes # Verification Please indicate the verification steps performed prior to pull request creation. ### Build - [ ] Build completed using `mvn clean install -P contrib-check` - [ ] JDK 21 ### Licensing - [ ] New dependencies are compatible with the [Apache License 2.0](https://apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0) according to the [License Policy](https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html) - [ ] New dependencies are documented in applicable `LICENSE` and `NOTICE` files ### Documentation - [ ] Documentation formatting appears as expected in rendered files -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
