Daniel Stieglitz commented on NIFI-14863:
-----------------------------------------

[~exceptionfactory] [~pvillard] I am trying to take inventory of the standard
processors which property descriptors names and display names do not align.
While doing this, I noticed there are many property descriptors whose names and
display names are identical.  In these cases, can the display names just be
removed since by default the display name will be the value of the name? If so,
can that work be a ticket under this epic?

> Align those components whose property names do not match the human-friendly
> display names.

> Many components have historical property names that do not match the
> human-friendly display names. These names could be migrated, avoiding the
> unnecessary duplication. This is fairly simple, but requires attention to
> detail, and chunking the work into well-organized groups for easier review.
