It seems likely valuable to a lot of folks. But Snowflake has launched an SSV2 API that would be a better fit for upstream and I think there is a desire to propose that when it is ready. Has far fewer/cleaner dependencies and a strong API to unlock true exactly once semantics/works well in stateless nifi and all that. But it is currently not GA so seems a bit premature to offer something against that API until then.
