# Summary NIFI-15364 - Fix QUIC NoClassDefFoundError for Azure Parameter Provider When using Service Principal authentication with the Azure Key Vault Parameter Provider, users encounter `NoClassDefFoundError: io/netty/handler/codec/quic/Quic` because: - `StandardAzureCredentialsControllerService` didn't configure an HTTP client on credential builders (unlike other Azure components) - The `netty-codec-classes-quic` dependency was not being included (it's a transitive dependency of `netty-codec-http3` which is excluded) ## Changes 1. `nifi-azure-bundle/pom.xml` - Added explicit `netty-codec-classes-quic` dependency in dependencyManagement 2. `nifi-azure-bundle/nifi-azure-processors/pom.xml` - Added `netty-codec-classes-quic` as an actual dependency 3. `StandardAzureCredentialsControllerService` - Modified all three credential builder methods to explicitly configure the HTTP client 4. `nifi-azure-bundle/nifi-azure-parameter-providers/pom.xml` - Added `azure-core-http-jdk-httpclient` dependency. The parameter provider already excluded `azure-core-http-netty` but didn't provide an alternative. Adding JDK HTTP client allows the SecretClient to use a non-Netty HTTP client for Key Vault API calls. 5. `AzureKeyVaultSecretsParameterProvider` - Modified `configureSecretClient()` to explicitly use JDK HTTP client. Even though the credential from `StandardAzureCredentialsControllerService` uses Netty, the SecretClient itself can use JDK HTTP client for its API calls to Key Vault. # Tracking Please complete the following tracking steps prior to pull request creation. ### Issue Tracking - [ ] [Apache NiFi Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI) issue created ### Pull Request Tracking - [ ] Pull Request title starts with Apache NiFi Jira issue number, such as `NIFI-00000` - [ ] Pull Request commit message starts with Apache NiFi Jira issue number, as such `NIFI-00000` ### Pull Request Formatting - [ ] Pull Request based on current revision of the `main` branch - [ ] Pull Request refers to a feature branch with one commit containing changes # Verification Please indicate the verification steps performed prior to pull request creation. ### Build - [ ] Build completed using `./mvnw clean install -P contrib-check` - [ ] JDK 21 - [ ] JDK 25 ### Licensing - [ ] New dependencies are compatible with the [Apache License 2.0](https://apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0) according to the [License Policy](https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html) - [ ] New dependencies are documented in applicable `LICENSE` and `NOTICE` files ### Documentation - [ ] Documentation formatting appears as expected in rendered files -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
