exceptionfactory commented on PR #10720: URL: https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/10720#issuecomment-3760947391
> @exceptionfactory I have tried a bunch of things as you could see from the number of commits but I cannot seem to get the unpacked jars deleted which I think is the root cause of the issue of not being able to delete the JUnit 5 tempDir directory. Would you possibly have any further suggestions? Given the number of attempts thus far, it looks like the root cause is a bit deeper. This may be related to other aspects of the JVM holding open a reference to the JAR in the ClassLoader, or similar. I'm not in a position to dig into these details right now. I recommend closing this pull request for now. If you are still inclined to work on this issue, I recommend working through the changes on your fork, confirming a clean build in GitHub actions, and then submitting a new PR. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
