# Summary [NIFI-15687](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-15687) Reverts current lag gauge recording in the `ConsumeKafka` Processor added under [NIFI-15563](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-15563).
