Matt Burgess updated NIFI-16053:
--------------------------------
Description:
This Jira aims for consistency and feature compatibility between the
List/FetchSmb processors (which use a SmbClientProviderService for
configuration) and Get/PutSmbFile processors (which use individual properties).
Adding an optional SmbClientProviderService property to Get/PutSmbFile will
allow the use of the controller service across all SMB processors, and will be
easier to maintain going forward.
This includes updating the individual property descriptions in Get/Put to say
that if the SmbClientProviderService is specified, the other properties will be
ignored, and those properties may be removed in a future (major) version of
NiFi.
There has already been discussion on this as part of NIFI-15977.
