# Summary [NIFI-16112](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-16112) Streamlines the authorization approach in the `ParameterContextResource` class for checking Read and Write permissions on applicable Parameter Context REST API operations. The new method follows the pattern of the existing authorize read method and removes duplicative checks across class methods. Additional changes include checking both Read and Write permissions when submitting validation requests.
