# Summary [NIFI-16115](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-16115) Removes the `ConsumeTwitter` Processor along with the `nifi-social-media-nar`, following the Deprecation Notice for this Processor released in Apache NiFi 2.10.0. The [twitter-api-sdk-java](https://github.com/xdevplatform/twitter-api-java-sdk) has not received updates for four years, and usage of the REST API has changed over time with different contractual levels.
