# Summary [NIFI-16132](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-16132) Adds a `componentId` key to the SLF4J Message Diagnostic Context in the standard implementation of the `ComponentLog` to provide unambiguous reference to the component performing logging operations. The adjustment includes requiring the `componentId` argument in both constructors, setting it in the MDC along with existing logging attributes.
