# Summary [NIFI-16139](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-16139) Adds Source and Destination component information to `ConnectionStatusEvents` recorded using the framework `ComponentMetricReporter`. The implementation uses the `ComponentMetricContext` to provide the identifier, name, and type of the Source and Destination components, following the pattern of Connection Status objects from the Status History Repository.
