I'm working on this issue and have a first version in progress. It adds a new
ConfluentProtobufMessageIndexWriter controller service that writes the
Confluent message index for a Protobuf message, so it can be included with the
schema reference header during serialization.
I'd be glad to hear any feedback or suggestions from the community :)
