# Summary [NIFI-16506](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-16506) ## Description In the Fetch Parameters dialog, overflowing names in the "Select Parameters To Be Set As Sensitive" table are clipped, and hover does not show the rest of the name. Parameters that share a visible prefix cannot be told apart when choosing sensitivity. The Parameter Name cell now uses the existing `EllipsisTooltipDirective` from `@nifi/shared`. The tooltip shows the full parameter name only when the cell overflows. ## What's Changed - In `fetch-parameter-provider-parameters.component.html`, the Parameter Name cell uses `class="truncate min-w-0"`, `ellipsisTooltip`, and `data-qa="parameter-name"`. - `FetchParameterProviderParameters` imports `EllipsisTooltipDirective` from `@nifi/shared`. - The shared listing-table ellipsis in `nifi-frontend/src/main/frontend/libs/shared/src/assets/themes/components/_table.scss` is unchanged. - The read-only Fetched Parameters list is unchanged. - The spec asserts that the fixture names `bytes`, `password`, and `username` render on `[data-qa="parameter-name"]` with the `truncate` class and the `ellipsistooltip` attribute. - `nx test nifi` passed (3226 tests). Lint passed on the component template, the component class, and the spec. ## Key Features - **Overflow-only tooltip**: `EllipsisTooltipDirective` sets the tooltip message to the cell text when the element overflows horizontally or vertically, and leaves the tooltip disabled when the name fits. - **Truncation on the name element**: `truncate min-w-0` is applied to the Parameter Name element so that element is the box that clips. The shared listing-table ellipsis rule stays as it is. - **Sensitivity selection only**: The change is limited to the "Select Parameters To Be Set As Sensitive" table. The read-only Fetched Parameters list still renders each name as plain text. ## Screenshots <img width="1036" height="620" alt="Screenshot 2026-10-26 at 09 40 23" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/2bf6dd9b-e48e-4c70-b71e-5b3519d01dce" /> -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
