Andre F de Miranda commented on NIFI-542:
-----------------------------------------

[~markap14] I appreciate the value of the functionality but given the blurb in
this JIRA seems to be referring to 0.x I was wondering: Would you say this is
still applicable considering we now rely on ZK?

> Currently there exists a master/slave paradigm. If the NCM has to orchestrate
> the flow across many, perhaps geographically dispersed, nodes, we don't want
> to replicate every request to many nodes. It would be better to send a single
> request from a "higher-level NCM" to several "lower-level NCMs" and have the
> lower-level NCM's replicate to the nodes.
