--------------------------------------
    Resolution: Duplicate
      Assignee: Andre F de Miranda

Marking as duplicate as the WebHDFS client should be able to access a HTTP-FS
without changes.

>From the documentation you linked:

bq. "The webhdfs client FileSytem implementation can be used to access HttpFS
using the Hadoop filesystem command (hadoop fs) line tool as well as from Java
aplications using the Hadoop FileSystem Java API."

> create a get or get HTTPfs processor (if possible)

> There is an increase of using HTTPfs to send and receive data for HDFS
> instead of accessing the namenode directly. It would be great if we had a
> processor that can do this. Here is more info on httpfs
> https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/stable/hadoop-hdfs-httpfs/index.html
> I'm not sure if this can be accomplished using other processors. What do you
> guys think?
