Related to this ticket, it is also worth taking a look into [~michal.klempa]'s
suggestion of changing RunNiFi to close the relevant streams when it is done
with them:

[~michal.klempa] would you like to collaborate on this with me? You left a
comment on the latest PR for NIFI-2199 that you were interested in the Java
work. I'm happy working on the fix or leaving that to you, and either way I am
comfortable to help in troubleshooting from the Python side of things to make
sure we address the issue [~jgresock] uncovered. Let me know.
