Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-1580:
-----------------------------------

Here is some previous discussion on this topic.
https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/e8547b44c16a736c0ac935b55937f4956d2f5fe3d14f8dedab27e609@%3Cdev.nifi.apache.org%3E

I share the view that the consistency of access can be maintained through
context menus where the 'do the most obvious action' should occur on a
double-click. That means for double-click on process groups you drill down,
double click on a processor you bring up the configuration dialogue, double
click on a connection you create/remove a bend point.

> Allow double-click to display config of processor

> A user frequently has to open the "config" dialog when designing nifi flows.
> Each time the user has to right-click the processor and select "config" from
> the menu.
> It would be quicker when it would be possible to double click a processor -
> or maybe the title are - to display the config dialog.
> This could also be designed as a confuguration of the UI that the user can
> define (if double-clicking open the config dialog, does something else or
> simply nothing)
