Rob Moran commented on NIFI-4191: --------------------------------- I've attached a PNG sample and individual SVG files (ZIP) for each icon/logo seen in the sample. The idea is to have a base set of icons representing patterns, operational intent, etc. as mentioned in the description. For other processors of a particular system or for a specific technology, display a unique icon such as a logo or icon and explicit label (e.g., HTTP). To start these will help enhance the UI with a variety of icons that help tell more of visual story about the data flow. Going forward this will hopefully serve as a foundation on which to build a more engaging Add Processor experience by allowing users to explore NiFi's offerings by pattern, workflow, technology, etc. This is related to NIFI-3338. > Display process-specific component icons > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: NIFI-4191 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-4191 > Project: Apache NiFi > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Core UI > Reporter: Rob Moran > Priority: Minor > > It would be nice to expand the iconography used for components on the NiFi > canvas to more accurately describe the pattern type (e.g., split, route, > join, partition, etc.) or system being used (e.g., Kafka, HBase, etc.) -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029)
