In and out of incognito mode

My first attempt to select settings was successful, but after creating a bucket
I have to switch tabs to show the settings layover.
The buckets endpoint responds within 20-30 ms, but switching chrome tabs is the
only way to show settings. This happens in incognito mode as well ( where my
plugins are disabled ).
