Claudiu Stanciu edited comment on NIFI-4807 at 3/21/18 1:58 PM:
----------------------------------------------------------------
As [~bbende] pointed out, the `${hostname(true)}` can handle this for
properties with EL
[https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/expression-language-guide.html#hostname|https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/expression-language-guide.html#hostname.]
So I'll cancel the last PR, and make a PR for the nifi principal property.
Didn't find a hostname replacement there.

> Affects Versions: 1.5.0

> Priority: Major
>
> As a user, I would like to have automatic replacement of the _HOST while
> configuring my processors, so that I can have my principal associated to my
> host. Even in a cluster, I would like individual keytabs and not shared ones.
