You can use the free developer version of MarkLogic either on the cloud or for 
Linux/Mac or Windows. Read more about the steps here - 
[https://developer.marklogic.com/products]. It is actually as simple as 
installing any software on your laptop. The only caveat is that you can use 
only upto 1 TB of data. But I believe that this should be fine for testing. 
Correct me if I'm wrong? 

Alternatively, we can help setup the mldb instance for this. How should we send 
across the details of that for you to work with?
