It is not recommended to use G1GC along with the Write-Ahead Provenance
Repository due to known bugs in the G1GC in versions of Java earlier than 1.9.
The default for the Provenance Repository was changed to the Write-Ahead
Provenance Repository, but the garbage collector still defaults to G1GC.
