With the advent of NIFI-6780, a RecordSinkService controller service interface
is available and is used by components like QueryNiFiReportingTask to decouple
the collection of data from its destination or transmission method. Initial
implementations in NIFI-6780 included a Site-to-Site record sink as well as a
DatabaseRecordSink for writing to RDBMS targets, and NIFI-6799 added a
PrometheusRecordSink.
This Jira proposes to add a RecordSinkService implementation for publishing to
Kafka. A RecordSetWriter property should be provided for formatting the data.
