shawnweeks commented on issue #3843: phoenix dbcp service changes for Nifi-6054 URL: https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/3843#issuecomment-549399796 Ambari doesn't give you this URL for Phoenix or at least it doesn't in HDP 2.6.5 or HDP 3.1. We also won't be able to use the Kerberos Credential Service if you make it part of the URL. We already have a pattern in the Hive DBCP Connection pool for separating that out. Looking at the code for Phoenix it looks like properties should also work. You can look at all the property names at https://github.com/apache/phoenix/blob/master/phoenix-core/src/main/java/org/apache/phoenix/query/QueryServices.java. It would just need some testing.
