+1 merged to master after fixing/removing tests that cause build failures due 
to not being able to clean up properly and happening outside target dir.

Thanks for the contrib.  Please do use PRs or patches with full author 
tags/etc.. See the contributor guide for best setup.

Manually verified the failure on an old build and the success on a new build 
with this commit.
