currently suspicious of DistributedMapCacheClient as that appears to open a lot
DataInputStream/DataOutputStream objects and never close them. However, it
hasn't been touched since 2017 as far as I can tell so doesn't explain the
claim that it was fine before 1.9 or so. When did your flows using
DistributedMapCache start breaking you say?
