Neil Ireson commented on OPENNLP-1017:
--------------------------------------

I'm having the same issue and it's reproducible and I believe I have located
the bug.

In the TokenNameFinderCrossValidator class evaluate method:

When calling NameFinderME.train(... the trainingSampleStream is incorrectly
wrapped in the DocumentToNameSampleStream class. This means that no events are
found. Removing the surrounding class seems to fix the issue.

I will download the source and submit a patch if someone doesn't beat me to it.

PS I couldn't reopen this issue so hopefully this won't be lost. If I don't
hear from anyone I'll clone the issue.

> OpenNlp NameFinderCrossValidation gives InsufficientTrainingDataException.
> With nfold value 3, I tried to cross validate NameFinder training data. After
> doing a research I got to know that first partition is assinged null data.
