Summary: [Java] Choice of a printer's tray before printing a
pdf document

OS: Mac OSX, 10.8
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Hello
I use the latest version of OpenOffice (3.4.1) on a Java 1.6 and Mac OS. I use
them as generators of documents and printing from Java. Everything works great,
except for a bug (or not) : I can't choice one of the 4 trays of a printer
which I use for a project. It seems that this bug has been corrected already in
2009. See issue 87495 on this link:
http://forum.openoffice.org/fr/forum/ftopic35311.html.
At the beginning of this article, there is a test
(https://issues.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=61031) Java class that is
supposed work, but who has never worked for me (no error message, but no
paperbin selected). Could someone who would have a printer 2-tray test it and
give me the result of this test. In particular, I'am not sure of the name of
the property to givet (PaperBin, PaperTray or PrinterPaperTray) and whether
this property should be sent to the printer or the print job. What I understood
was that it was rather to the printer and the name selected was
"PrinterPaperTray". I forgot to specify tray selection works if I print
directly in Java instead of using OpenOffice, but I can only print PDF and not
ODT. Thanks for help.
