Bug ID: 121394
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: PDF export: EPS vector graphics not correctly exported
Classification: Code
Product: gsl
Version: AOO 3.4.1
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: code
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
OpenOffice does not export EPS graphics to PDF (Writer, Draw, Impress).
OOo 3.1 converted both EPS and SVG vector images to bitmaps for PDF output.
When you _printed_ "to file" with a generic Postscript driver, however, EPS
graphics were correctly output in EPS vector format ... while Postscript was
still the print job format used. With PDF now being used for CUPS printing, an
EPS is dropped when printing.
AOO 3.4.1 now has much improved support for SVG: It is exported in vector
format by Writer, Draw and Impress (although the test files I will attach show
that part of the SVG is clipped). But EPS support has been lost somehow in the
meantime.
Platform: Ubuntu 12.04/64 bit, AOO 3.4.1 de (DEBs from Apache).
