Close AOO, make sure quickstarter is closed too. 2. Make a backup of the file statusbar.xml from <Your installation folder>\Basis\share\config\soffice.cfg\modules\simpress\statusbar or Basis\share\config\soffice.cfg\modules\sdraw\statusbar respectively. 3. Open the file statusbar.xml with an editor, which is able to handle UNIX line ends and UTF-8. 4. Goto to the line with ".uno:Size" and add the attribute statusbar:autosize="true" or set the value in the attribute statusbar:width="208" to a higher number. 5.
