Get 'ASCI Filter Options' dialog instead of opening WordPerfect file
I use DOS WordPerfect 6.0 in a Command Prompt window of a Windows XP Pro
computer. When I need to print a WP file, I open it in OOo so I can print from
that application. Reason for that: I've never discovered a "printer function"
in the old DOS WP 6.0 when I run it in the Command prompt window of Windows XP
Pro.
After 10 Dec 2012, my OOo ver 3.4.1 won't open my routinely used WP 6.0 files.
Worked OK 10 Dec 2012. Don't believe I upgraded to 3.4.1 after the good
opening 10 Dec 2012 but maybe I did. V 3.4.1 was released Aug 2012 but if I
didn't install until after 10 Dec, maybe that version broke the WP detection.
Result when try to open: With OOo 3.4.1 Writer open, clicked File, Open,
navigated to my WP files location, click-selected the file to open, a "open
with" dialog opens and I click "OOo writer". Usually it just opens
immediately. Now, after 10 Dec 2012, I get the "ASCI Filter Options" window,
which means the file is not going to open. I click "OK" to the font, etc and
get a line and a half of gibberish - the file is not recognized, i.e., not
displayed properly.
