Using the JSL Ancient font (www.dafont.com/jsl-ancient.font) in OpenOffice
Writer, sections of the text randomly disappear, and are replaced by various
forms of whitespace. If copied, the correct text is put on the clipboard. Text
in italics or small caps are not affected. On my Windows XP computer, changing
the zoom level can sometimes correct the issue, as can toggling in and out of
bold or italics, or closing the program and re-opening. On my Windows 7
computer, the issue is more stubborn. Changing to another font makes the text
reappear, but the issue comes back if the font is restored.
No problems in MS Word Starter or Wordpad.
