However I do notice that not all columns are treated as text. Follow these steps to reproduce the behavior. 1.Start OO. 2.File->open. Pick the attached file (out7.csv) 3.Make sure under "Separated by" , only "Comma" checkbox is checked 4.Under "Fields", click on the top left corner cell of the preview grid(to select the entire grid) 5. Make sure you do NOT scroll to the bottom of the preview grid. 6.Pick "text" from the "Column type" drop down and click ok. Columns A through D are treated as text. However all the columns from E onwards are treated as Numbers. In step 4 , if you preview the entire grid before clicking ok , this behavior doesn't occur and all the columns are correctly treated as text.
