I am having the same problem, affecting not only my ability to open any new windows, save as, and quit the OpenOffice program without using the Force Quit option (Quit is grayed out in the File menu). I have attempted the following with no success: 1. Close then re-enter the OpenOffice program 2. Delete then reinstall the OpenOffice program from the latest stable version. 3. Used MacKeeper to remove "all" traces of the OpenOffice program and associated files then reinstalled the program from scratch. 4. Attempted to use Time Machine backup from several days ago but it would not allow me to change/alter the "Application folder" where OpenOffice resides.
