--- Comment #1 from Dino Filippini <[email protected]> ---
I've encountered a more severe case of the same bug.

OS: Win 7 Home Premium
OfficeVersion: 3.4.1
Build: 341m1 (9593)

Excel Version: 2003

I'm not sure what version of Excel the reporter was using, but on 2003, this
causes OpenOffice Calc to stop responding in some cases. Two out of three
attempts of copying a column of numerical data to OpenOffice from Excel 2003
resulted in the program needing to be terminated.

I've attached a link to a .csv file of the third case. The three values that
existed in the column were inserted in a pattern to the OpenOffice spreadsheet,
down to the column max of 1048576.

This operation was undo-able, however. Additionally, the rest of the cells on
the OpenOffice spreadsheet retained their formatting.
