I have searched all over the site and I am sure the answer is here some where
but I cannot find it and cant spend anymore time looking. I recently purchased
a new laptop with window 8. Previously I used both openoffice and microsoft
works. I put openoffice in the new laptop and could not open my works
documents. After searching a bit I found info telling me to download
oxygenoffice which I have done. Now the works documents open but they are
either all messed up and look nothing like the original or all the words have a
line through them. I have tried saving the doc with different formats like rtf
and doc with no success. I like the openoffice product but what can I do to
fix this and use my works Doc's, I am a Fire Chief and have hundreds of docs.
