            Bug ID: 121716
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: saving to .xls file the custom format of negative
numbers uses CAP case [RED] not Title Case [Red]
    Classification: Application
           Product: spreadsheet
           Version: AOO 3.4.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: formatting
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

The custom format of negative numbers in OpenOffice uses CAP case [RED] not
Title Case [Red] and causes compatibility issues with other software..
looked on Microsoft site and they use Title Case [Red]
Kingsoft Office PC and Android use Title Case [Red]

Cannot use OpenOffice at the moment to save to .xls file standard using this
[RED] CAP CASE.
Cannot ask Kingsoft to change as they are using and only claiming to use the
Microsoft standard.
Cannot ask Microsoft to change as it is their formatting standard.

If the OpenOffice standard is [RED] CAP CASE, when you offer the facility to
save in other file formats, then

I hope not to detract from your hard work, dilligence and ethics regarding open
source software in pointing this out.

best regards and many thanks

jon

sorry if this is my error, duplication and/or ignorance
