-> How to produce the error:
1. Start AOO via Destkop icon or tray icon -> AOO Window comes up ->
click on "TextDokument" or "SpreadsheetDokument" / or simply double click on an
existing .odt file
2. For a very short moment, the Program Window appears, disappears, then Dialog
pops up like "crashed ... due to unexpected error"
-> General Remarks:
1. Open Office cashes everytime at the very first "open" - this works
reproducible with existing documents as well as with new documents, exisiting
text, spreadsheet, does not matter what you take
2. Follow up: Dialog like "recover documents"... -> recover works
3. From now on: normal behavior, further "open" - existing document or new
document - work without crash
4. now "log out - log in": again it crashes at the first "open" ... did this a
lot of times... with modifications:
5. rebuild of user dircetory does not change the behavior
6. reinstall open office does not change the behavior
7. switching off the open office quickstarter does noch change the behavior
8. crashes for all users: admin, main user, does not matter
9. I did not see this problem before I reinstalled Windows: same machine,
same open office... now different behavior !
-> Environment:
1. brandnew win xp prof 32-bit installation on a Asus P5KPL SE
2. brandnew installed apache open office 3.4.1
3. It may be that some software I installed after the first AOO installation
causes the trouble... I THINK, when I tested AOO immediately after installing
everything was ok.... but I am not totally sure...
So here is the list: I installed (everything in the last available version für
xp 32):
WinXP SP2

Connected to Network.
All Updades from Windows Update
